This company, named Bevshots, has produced loads of images of alcohol at 1000x magnification. They put one drop of liquor on a slide, and let it dry out completely in an airtight container. The entire process can take up to three months to complete, and as many as two hundred attempts to capture the constituent parts of each drink.

I think they’re gorgeous.
